The US Youth Soccer New Mexico Open State Cup is a part of the State, Regional and National Championship program of US Youth Soccer. Annual winners of each age group (U-12 through U-19) at the National State Association level in Region IV advance to the Far West Regional Tournament (a.k.a. US Youth Soccer Region IV Championships) in June of each year. Regional winners U-14 through U-19 participate in the annual US Youth Soccer National Championship Tournament. |

The 2008 US Youth Soccer New Mexico Open State Cup will be held from 3 thru 18 May 2008. Beginning with the 2007 tournament, there are no longer U-12 brackets in New Mexico. Winning teams (U-13 through U-19) will represent New Mexico at the 2008 Far West Regional Tournament, which will be hosted this year by the Hawaii Youth Soccer Association, 16-22 June 2008, at Honolulu HI (see the Regionals page for additional information). |
