LeagueOne system enhancements 8 Oct 07:

• NOTES - There is a new enhancement that will allow users to enter free-form notes at the player, team and staff level and to define which users see the notes. At the bottom of the team, staff and player maintenance screens, there is a new button, "add note." If you select this option, a new screen appears allowing you to enter a note concerning that player, team or staff member. This new function has unlimited uses from tracking phone conversations, registration paperwork, RM issues, etc. Please let Gloria know if you have any questions or need help using this section.

• Data Fields - There is a new data field at the team and staff level that is called "restrict." This new field is part of the new e-travel system that will be implemented soon. The field allows those with security at the League/Club or State level to restrict a team from traveling. If there is a "Yes" in the restrict field at the team level, coaches/team managers will not be able to access the online system to produce travel certificates for that team. The same restriction applies at the staff level. If you as a registrar restrict a team from traveling, please notify the state office and place the appropriate note in the team note section.

• On the team maintenance screen, there are now lines which highlight the data fields "Eval" (to score a player), "Jersey" (the player's home jersey number), "Away" (the player's away jersey number) and "Pos" (the player's position). All of this data prints on certain reports and on the Blue Roster form for Nationals.

• Team List - Registrars can now sort the system team list by each header of the list report on screen. For example, if you want to sort your teams by coach, you simply click on the column header "coach" and the list resorts by coach. The same applies to any of the data headers. You can click on any of them to sort the list by that header.

LeagueOne registration software:

• The NMYSA registration database is now maintained on-line.
• Registrars may access the LeagueOne registration software through the link below.
• You MUST have a LeagueOne login name and password to enter the registration application.
• The LeagueOne registration software is designed to be used with Microsoft Internet Explorer. Other browsers will not support full functionality.
• Any pop-up blocker(s) must be configured to allow pop-ups from "*.leagueone.com".
• If you have any questions concerning the LeagueOne registration application contact the State Registrar.
• When you close out of the LeagueOne registration application, you will be returned to the NMYSA web site.

Announcements for Registrars:

• UPDATED Mail merge membership form: An UPDATED Microsoft Word version of the NMYSA membership form is now available in mail-merge format. You can now query the LeagueOne database for membership information and then merge that query result with the membership form to print pre-filled forms for the list. Download the MS Word document by RIGHT-CLICKING HERE and saving the file to your hard drive ("Save Link As..." or "Save Target As...") for future use. DO NOT left-click on the link (which only opens the file in your browser). Download the [UPDATED] LeagueOne instructions HERE.   Note that there is an updated plain pdf version of the plain-paper membership form as well (HERE), and a fillable pdf version of the form (HERE), data date 080319, which replicate the LeagueOne data fields.

• Pass card update: Region IV and US Youth Soccer no longer require that player pass cards be signed by the player. The exception is that players participating in the US Youth Soccer National Championship series, specifically, Far West Regionals and Nationals, must have a player-signed pass card. We will incorporate this rule change into the NMYSA policies and procedures in our next revision.

• U-19 roster limit: (reminder) In Jan 07, the team roster limit for U-19 teams ONLY was increased to 22. No more than 18 of those rostered players may be on a game roster for any match. See paragraph 3.05.04 of General Procedures and Rules.
