2009 Youth Soccer Month
For the 7th year, September is designated "Youth Soccer Month"!
New Mexico Youth Soccer Association proudly supports Youth Soccer Month and encourages our member Leagues and Clubs to celebrate youth soccer during the month of September. Visit the US Youth Soccer Youth Soccer Month web site for ideas and activities your Club or League could use.
On August 13, 2009, New Mexico’s Governor Bill Richardson signed a Proclamation declaring September 2009 “Youth Soccer Month” in New Mexico.
Planned Youth Soccer Month activities:
The UNM Lobo Women's Soccer Team is celebrating Youth Soccer Month on September 11, 2009, with $2 youth tickets. The women are hosting Cal State - Northridge for the Nike Classic at 7 pm.
Come join NMYSA at the UNM Lobo Men’s soccer match on September 20, 2009, as we recognize the NMYSA Coaches of the Year with their awards.
The ENMU Women's Soccer team (Zias) will celebrate Youth Soccer Month during the Lone Star Conference home opener against West Texas A&M on September 26, 2009, at 1pm. First 50 youth wearing team jerseys receive a free Youth Soccer Month T-shirt. First 200 fans receive free "hand fans" from US Youth Soccer. See flyer for more info.
