NMYSA Certified Game Managers

New Mexico Youth Soccer and the New Mexico State Referee Committee have completed a referee training course designed to allow leagues to train referees to “manage” U-06 and U-08 games.  This three-hour course is designed to introduce parents and coaches to “game management” for our youngest players in order to maximize fun and create a safe environment.  Graduates of the course will become NMYSA Certified Game Managers and will be insured to “referee” U-06 and U-08 games.

For this year, NMYSA is paying all of the costs associated with this program, including T-shirts and whistles for the certified game managers, and the travel costs and fees of instructors.  If your league wants to host a game manager certification course, contact Jim Tilley at the NMYSA office (505-830-2245) as soon as possible.  If at all possible, we need 15 candidates for the course, but if that is a problem, call Jim and see if any other options exist.
