The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) recently launched its first "D" License coaching course.  The new course serves to reinforce the governing body's vision and commitment to education, so that the standard of the game can be raised throughout the region.  It is CONCACAF's first official licensing program for coaches and it will establish the foundation for the future proliferation of a comprehensive educational curriculum.

U.S. Soccer Instructors Heather Dyche and Neal Ellis recently participated in the CONCACAF "D" license course in Grand Cayman as the only two US invitees.  The course, held August 22-26, brought together candidates from ten CONCACAF countries.

Heather Dyche is NMYSA’s Associate Technical Director and ODP Program Director.  Congratulations to Heather for being selected by USSF to attend the course and for being one of the first coaches to complete the CONCACAF course.
