Take a coach education course
[from the 2007 National Youth License course in New Mexico]
Kick off the spring season by taking a Coach Education course. NMYSA is running age-appropriate coach education courses across the state in February. Our courses are aimed at coaches of youth players aged 5 thru 19. Registration is simple and the courses are free to attend.
If you do not have a coaching license, now is the time to get one. If you are already licensed as a coach, you are more than welcome to attend as a refresher and to get new ideas for the upcoming season. All of our course instructors are nationally licensed and have a wealth of experience to share. All courses are focused on helping coaches create a developmentally appropriate training environment.
NMYSA will be running the following courses in January and February:

- Youth Module 1 (U6/U8), Dates: 1/30/2010, Location: Las Cruces
- Youth Module 2 (U10/U12), Dates: 1/31/2010, Location: Las Cruces
- Youth Module 1 (U6/U8), Dates: 2/6/2010, Location: Alamogordo
- Youth Module 2 (U10/U12), Dates: 2/7/2010, Location: Alamogordo
- Youth Module 1 (U6/U8), Dates: 2/13/2010, Location: Farmington
- Youth Module 2 (U10/U12), Dates: 2/14/2010, Location: Farmington
- Youth Module 1 (U6/U8), Dates: 2/20/2010, Location: Albuquerque
- Youth Module 2 (U10/U12), Dates: 2/21/2010, Location: Albuquerque
